This interactive presentation provides a practical, business-driven organizational approach for building inclusive and productive workplaces. The premise is that inclusion must be driven by daily behaviors derived from stated and accepted organizational values. These become cultural standards of interacting productively and collaboratively with team members from diverse backgrounds. Linking daily behavior to business strategic objectives is the simplest, most effective and practical way to change behavior lastingly and drive superior business outcomes. The session demonstrates how values, leadership, team responsibilities and specific actions build enduring and productive workplaces where individuals, no matter who they are or where they are from, provide their best individual and team contributions.
Participants will learn how to:
- Link organizational objectives to inclusive behaviors to prove the business impact of Civility Rules
- Convert organizational commitments of inclusion into daily behaviors through simple leadership and team models which drive lasting cultural change
- Communicate to leaders and team members how to raise and respond to questions and concerns at the team level involving inclusion and related issues.
