North Dakota Human Rights Act protects age (40+), mental or physical disability, status with regard to marriage or public assistance, race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, pregnancy-related disabilities, and childbirth), participation in lawful activities during non-work hours off the employer's premises that is not in direct conflict with the essential business-related interests of the employer, and national origin.
