Course Overview
A Human Resource Executive magazine “Top 10 Training Product,” CTE uses an interactive, non-legal learning format featuring engaging, realistic videos, skills-building exercises, and concrete behavioral guidelines.
The course focuses on tangible outcomes that transform the workplace: participants learn their roles and responsibilities for building an ethical organization.
Regularly updated to ensure legal compliance and business relevance, CTE covers a range of issues addressing both the employer’s and employee’s responsibilities for building a civil workplace.
Topics include the following:
- Sexual harassment and other forms of harassment
- Religion and national origin discrimination issues
- Retaliation/protected protest
- Abusive behavior
- Inappropriate mutual banter
- Workplace environment
- Workplace violence
Delivery Options
Civil Treatment for Employees is a modular program available via instructor-led or e-learning delivery. It can be taught by ELI’s professional instructors or your own ELI-certified instructors. In the classroom, CTE provides a half-day of instruction, while e-learning delivery requires approximately 1 ½ hours.
