Civil Treatment® for Employees

Harassment Training and Discrimination Training for Employees

Civil Treatment for Employees (CTE): Harassment training and discrimination training that communicates an organization’s workplace expectations to its employees, teaching them skills that foster professionalism and diversity at all levels.

Course Overview

A Human Resource Executive magazine “Top 10 Training Product,” CTE uses an interactive, non-legal learning format featuring engaging, realistic videos, skills-building exercises, and concrete behavioral guidelines.

The course focuses on tangible outcomes that transform the workplace: participants learn their roles and responsibilities for building an ethical organization.

Regularly updated to ensure legal compliance and business relevance, CTE covers a range of issues addressing both the employer’s and employee’s responsibilities for building a civil workplace.

Topics include the following:

  • Sexual harassment and other forms of harassment
  • Religion and national origin discrimination issues
  • Retaliation/protected protest
  • Abusive behavior
  • Inappropriate mutual banter
  • Workplace environment
  • Workplace violence

Delivery Options

Civil Treatment for Employees is a modular program available via instructor-led or e-learning delivery. It can be taught by ELI’s professional instructors or your own ELI-certified instructors. In the classroom, CTE provides a half-day of instruction, while e-learning delivery requires approximately 1 ½ hours.
