Values Training for Leadership

NextACT values training for leadership takes managers to the next level by giving them skills and tools that will develop them into more effective, credible leaders who bring life to an organization’s values.


Course Overview

This program reinforces key concepts from Civil Treatment® for Managers and then further sharpens leadership skills and behaviors by confronting and solving realistic business problems.

Through discovery learning methods, video vignettes, and skill practice, participants gain tools, guidelines, and confidence for dealing with behavioral issues – whether illegal or not – that disrupt the workplace.

This program readily incorporates an organization’s values and missions into its training. It includes the following topics:

  • Organizational values
  • Abusive/unprofessional behavior
  • How to model the values
  • Inclusion and diversity in the workplace
  • Elements of communication
  • Duty to Act
  • Coaching positive and negative behaviors
  • Creating a welcoming environment
  • Gray areas

Delivery Options

NextACT values training for leadership is a modular program that can be delivered in one five-hour session or in individual segments by professional ELI® instructors or your organization’s ELI-certified instructors. Supplemental segments address specific legal concepts or learning objectives.
