Course Overview
Through videos, discussion, and skills-building exercises, this course provides employees with a concrete model for raising safety concerns and following through on those concerns in order to support an organization’s safety commitment.
Participants also learn that they have both a right and a responsibility to address safety issues in the workplace.
Topics include the following:
- Where to raise concerns
- Retaliation
- Communication expectations of supervisors and employees
- Model for raising/resolving concerns
- Worker rights and responsibilities
- Co-worker ostracism
- Refusal to work
- Addressing the facts of a concern
