The list included BryanLGH Medical Center; CIGNA Corporation; Deloitte and Touche; Fannie Mae (Top 10 selection); GlaxoSmithKline; Hewlett-Packard Company; The New York Times Company; Pfizer, Inc.; Sears, Roebuck and Co.; The St. Paul Companies; and Verizon Wireless.

To be eligible, the companies had to complete application and screening processes that focused on the key areas of company flexibility, advancement, and equitable distribution of benefits to working mothers.
