Every month Certified Instructor Program (CIP) participants travel to Atlanta to participate in the three-day trainer certification program. To date more than 5,000 individuals have completed the CIP and have become members of the ELI Certified Instructor Community. With the CIP participants in mind, ELI has created a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing learning environment. The updated reception area, ambient lighting, and neutral brown schema in the lobby area create an inviting atmosphere, and the employee offices feature upgraded paint and carpet (while still displaying the distinct individual personalities of the offices’ inhabitants).
The east wing of the office is home to the Executive offices, Legal Department, Product Development Department, and Sales Team. The ELI archive library and the webcast technology room are also located in the east wing. The archive library houses records and samples of all of ELI’s programs, videos, and related materials, including samples of client-customized materials. The state-of-the-art technology room features flat screen displays and the latest audio-visual capabilities to facilitate learning and informational webcasts.
The west wing of the office is home to Marketing, Training Services, and Accounting and includes the ELI Training Center which encompasses a large training room, a multi-purpose seminar room, and a café. Upon entering the Training Center, visitors will first notice the floor-to-ceiling timeline – an installation originally displayed at the ELI 20th Anniversary Conference in 2006. Covering a span of over 50 years, the ELI timeline features events from ELI’s history, the civil rights movement, and major milestones that have impacted the work environment. Across from the timeline installation is another display from the Conference – representative samples of ELI’s presence in the media.
Along with the upgraded Training Center, ELI expanded and redesigned its in-house fulfillment and shipping center to better serve client fulfillment needs and assist CIP participants with shipping back their new Training Kits and facilitation materials.
ELI Client Master Trainers were among the first to experience the new training facilities, participating in a special learning and networking event shortly after the renovations were completed. Since redesigning the space, ELI has also opened its doors to the community, recently hosting an event for the Atlanta chapter of Vistage, the world’s largest CEO membership organization.
Close proximity to Atlanta’s Cumberland, Buckhead, Midtown, and Downtown business centers makes the facility a great location for clients’ ELI training events. The primary training room features ergonomic seating for up to 25 people, a 100’ projection screen, surround sound, and more. The multi-purpose seminar room is useful for break-out sessions and smaller groups, and the café features bistro-style tables, a buffet area for catering services, and a small kitchen. If your organization is interested in renting the space to conduct ELI training sessions, please call (800) 497-7654 for more information. And if you’re in the area, we encourage you to stop by and see the new space!
