Our Approach

Over thirty years ago, workplace problems were mostly thought of in legal or risk management terms. Today, companies are turning to ELI because though compliance is an important element, it is no longer the only element. Building a respectful, diverse, and ethical culture is a business necessity, and ELI is helping organizations meet that challenge head-on through our unique, interactive approach.

ELI’s behavioral-based, interactive approach equips individuals with practical tools for applying the organization’s policies and values to their daily on-the-job conduct. Rather than focusing on complex legal theories or lectures, ELI’s programs – whether delivered via classroom instruction, e-learning, or interactive virtual instructor-led training– emphasize the connection between everyday workplace conduct and an organization’s ability to achieve its business mission.

How people learn what works at work: the ELI flight simulator

ELI training is the difference between watching a PowerPoint presentation and stepping into a “flight simulator”. Instead of simply being exposed to principles and concepts, ELI participants learn by doing. They experience very real, very relevant workplace situations where they have to make quick assessments and decisions with limited information at hand. During our workplace simulations, participants will be challenged by employees/colleagues and experience real life court room simulations. The only difference between ELI training and real life is the safety of the simulator and the guidance of their facilitator. You don’t attend ELI training – you experience it. And that’s why you never forget it.
